It's hard to believe we're already 35 days into our 60 Day Chiller Challenge. I wanted to touch base and give you a quick update on where things stand.
Our old chiller is still running, but it's come at a cost. We've managed to keep it going with repairs, but it’s clear this isn't a sustainable, long-term solution — not when it comes at the expense of funding our core programs.
This is about so much more than keeping our building cool. It's about ensuring Neighborhood House can continue to serve children and families without interruption, as we've done for the past 97 years. Our ability to keep our programs running smoothly depends on having reliable infrastructure.
We're still working towards our $325,000 goal. If you're in a position to help, we'd be grateful for your support. But we also know that not everyone can contribute financially, and that's okay. Spreading the word about our campaign or offering your time and skills are valuable ways to contribute.
Whatever form it takes, your involvement is what keeps Neighborhood House going strong. We're thankful for each and every person who stands with us, especially during times like this.
If you have any questions about the campaign or want to discuss other ways to get involved, please don't hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to chat.
Thank you for being part of the Neighborhood House family.
