The right candidate for this position will assist the Executive Director and business office with day-to-day operations, maintain human resources files, and support organizational functions across both Wilmington and Middletown locations — all while maintaining a positive, collaborative attitude toward coworkers, clients, and volunteers.

Under the general supervision of the Program Director, an Early Childhood Educator helps to carry out the educational program of the Neighborhood House Early Learning Center — providing support to colleagues, caring for children, and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, as needed.

The School-Age Site Assistant works under the direct supervision of the school-age site coordinator and performs direct child care duties. This individual assists with the implementation of curriculum. and may supervise school-age interns, school-age aides, volunteers, and substitutes. The candidate must meet the qualifications listed in the DELCARE Regulations for Early Child Care and Education and School-Age Centers.
